Brave, relevant, new music

In Medio is thrilled to announce that we are commissioning a piece from Portland composer Judy A. Rose for our 2023-2024 season. The composition will be a series of three pieces with a shared narrative, thematically entwined with—and to have its world premiere at—our We Shall Have a Song concert on June 7, 2024.

We need your help. We're raising $8,000 to help bring this incredible new work to life, which will only happen with your generous support. This will allow us to commission Judy A. Rose, produce a recording of her new composition, and cover unexpected expenses along the way. Any donations we receive before May 21 will receive the following:

$100-$499: Your name acknowledged in the published score

$500-$999: A signed copy of the score, premium seating for our concert in June, and your name acknowledged in the published score

$1000 or more: An invitation to a meet-and-greet event with Judy A. Rose, a signed copy of the score, premium seating for our concert in June, and your name acknowledged in the published score
