Sing With In Medio
Interested in singing with In Medio? Here’s how!
Who: In Medio is looking for singers of all voice parts who have significant choral experience at the advanced collegiate level or beyond, and are comfortable singing in a small ensemble. Applicants should be well versed in choral terminology, be strong sight singers, be comfortable singing in a variety of styles, and have a positive/collaborative attitude.
How: Auditions for In Medio are available based on the voice parts needed to fill out the 32-voice choir. To be considered for an audition, please fill out our ONLINE AUDITION FORM and we’ll be in touch when we have an open position for your voice part(s).
What: If invited for an audition, we’ll work with you to schedule a 15-minute private audition with the artistic director. You’ll be asked to complete a variety of vocal exercises, sight-read a short excerpt, and sing 30 seconds of any vocal selection of any style, a cappella.
When: Depending on our membership, we may have openings at any time in between concert cycles. As soon as we know we have openings, we’ll be in touch!

Rehearsal Details: In Medio rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Augustana Lutheran Church in NE Portland on the corner of 15th and Knott.
