In Medio celebrates 250 years of American choral composers. We'll trace the lineage of American choral music, from early shape-note songs to African American spirituals to modern 20th and 21st century composers who have pushed the boundaries of the art form to new and expressive places. Highlights include works by Moses Hogan, Undine Smith Moore, Samuel Barber, Shawn Kirchner, Sydney Guillaume, and many other American favorites.
