We open our fifth season with Passage, a moving reflection on death, transcendence, and the mystery of what lies beyond. At its heart is Triptych by Irish composer Tarik O’Regan—a powerful, 20-minute work for choir and string orchestra, last heard in Oregon in 2014. The program also includes Eric Whitacre’s When David Heard and Amihan by Filipino composer Ily Matthew Maniano. Join us for an unforgettable evening of music that grapples with the question of what comes next.
